Service Description:
The Adult Autism Service offers a full range of service for adults with autism (and no learning disability).
We offer specialist autism diagnostic assessments for adults who may not have been diagnosed as a child, and support adults with autism to live the life they want.

All of our support is person-centred. You decide what support you would like from us and you can access that support whenever you need it.

We work as a multi-disciplinary team, which makes it easier for us to work together to meet your needs. A team of several people will work together to conduct your initial needs assessment and subsequent reviews.

As well as diagnostic assessment and support, we offer:

Emotional support
Medication support
Help accessing local services
Walk the Walk – outreach in the local community to help you overcome anxiety, including travel training and supermarket training
Support the Supporter
Special interest groups
Adult Autism Forums and the Autism Café
This service is run in conjunction with Care Plus Group and you can and you can download the Adult Autism Service leaflet for more information.
