Service Description:What we are
Welcome to Linkage Choices, a day service for adults with learning difficulties and disabilities aged 16+. Previously known as Adult Skills, we changed our name in early 2022 to reflect the changes we’ve made to the service. Flexibility and choice are at the heart of our service, with a range of day, evening and weekend activities for people to choose from.

Why we exist
We are here to provide people with learning disabilities with more than just somewhere to spend their day. We provide unique opportunities for people with learning disabilities to experience fantastic, meaningful – and most importantly – fun activities that are tailored to your individual wants and needs. There are multiple activities to choose from every day, meaning people have real opportunities and choice to live the life they choose, based on what they like doing and what their aspirations are.

At Linkage Choices you will:
Make amazing friends
Make your own decisions about how to spend your time
Develop new skills, try new things and build on your current interests
Get involved with your local community
Feel safe, respected and listened to
Have choice and independence
Be supported by wonderful staff including an in-house Communications and Sensory Team

How we work
Our service is flexible. We are open Monday to Friday, with a range of evening and weekend activities available.

Individuals can attend Linkage Choices on a flexible basis, to suit their individual needs, which could be from half a day, to five full days, or just one of the evening or weekend activities. This means, if you go to college or access other provisions then we can still be a great option for you.

We focus our support delivery on four main areas: health and well-being; employability; independence; and friendship, relationships and community. Discover more about the types of activities available within these areas by clicking on the icons below.
